Replacing the Lamp

Caution

• Do not remove the AN-XR20LP lamp unit from the projector right after use. The lamp will be very hot and may

cause burn or injury.

■Carefully change the lamp by following the instructions described in this section. * If you wish,

you may have the lamp replaced at your nearest Sharp Authorized Projector Dealer or Service

Center.

* If the new AN-XR20LP lamp does not light after replacement, take your projector to the nearest Sharp Authorized

Projector Dealer or Service Center for repair.

Warning!

• Do not remove the lamp unit from the projector right after use. The lamp and parts around

the lamp will be very hot and may cause burns

or injury.

• Make sure that you remove the AN-XR20LP lamp unit by the handle. Do not touch the glass surface of

the lamp unit or the inside of the projector.

• To avoid injury to yourself and damage to the lamp, be sure to carefully follow the steps

below.

• Do not loosen other screws except for the lamp unit cover and lamp unit.
