SP-LAMP-LP755 projector lamp hour and replacement

Lamp hours used

Indicates how many hours the current lamp has been in use. The

counter starts at zero hours and counts each hour the lamp is in

use. When the counter reaches 3000 hours, the lamp monitor light

on the projector’s keypad turns on. For optimum results, the

lamp should be replaced at this time. 

Replacing the Projection Lamp

1 Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.

2 Wait 30 minutes to allow it to cool thoroughly.

3 Using a small, flat-blade screwdriver, loosen the screw on the

outside of the lamp door.

4 Pull the SP-LAMP-LP755 lamp door up and remove it.

5 Loosen the two non-removable screws on the outside of the

module.

6 Remove the module by grasping its handle and pulling it out

of the projector.

7 Align the new SP-LAMP-LP755 lamp module in the correct direction.

8 Gently push the module in as far as it goes.

9 Tighten the screws on the outside of the module.

10 Reposition the lamp door.

11 Tighten the lamp door screw.

12 Plug in the power cord and turn the projector back on. The

lamp monitor light and SP-LAMP-LP755 lamp hour counter in the Status menu

are automatically reset.

Warning: To avoid burns,

allow the projector to cool for at

least 30 minutes before you open

the lamp module door. Never

extract the lamp module while the

lamp is operating.

CAUTION: If the lamp LED

remains solidly lit after the projector

has powered on, the lamp

needs to be replaced.
