Notes and Precautions

• Press the button twice to display (a rough guide) of the time of use from the TDPLD1 Lamp

time item on the Status display menu. 

• As a rule of thumb, it is recommended that the lamp should be replaced after 1,500

hours of use. When TDPLD1 Lamp time reaches 1,500 hours, the icon and a message will

appear. When pressing the button, the message disappears.

• Attach the lamp cover correctly so that it is not loose. If it is not attached correctly, the

lamp may fail to come , and the lamp’s lifetime may be shortened.

• Always replace the lamp with a new one.

• The TDPLD1 lamp is made out of glass. Do not touch the glass surface with your bare hands,

bang it, or scratch it. (Dirt, jolts, scratches and the like could break the lamp.)

CAUTION

• Request cleaning and maintenance of a ceiling-mounted unit from your projector

dealership.

• When replacing, always use the specified lamp (for TDP-D1: TDPLD1 and it for TDPD2:

TDPLD2) (sold separately).

• If you have been using the projector, the lamp will be very hot, and may cause burn

injuries.
